We all read Gurbani without knowing what is to be known from Gurbani. Infact Gurbani deals with complete spectrum of various aspects of person's life with apropriate guidance to lead the life according to the various principles mentioned therein. Many of us read Gurbani just to get the physical benefits which a common man normally requires.
By reading and listening to Gurbani one can surely attain the fulfillment of his wishes and the quantum of the fulfillment of the wishes depends on the person's status of connection with Gurbani. The actual aim of reading and listening of Gurbani is beyond fulfillment of wishes and this aim is to get the knowledge of Gurmat Ram Naamu. If one has not attained the knowledge of this Naamu all the attempts are of no use.
